    Poll finds support for smoking ban  Oct 5, 2005
    Melanie Ellingsworth, communications director for the state branch of the American Cancer Society, said Bowling Green officials are discussing an ordinance, and various nonsmoking bans have been passed in Lexington, Louisville and Georgetown. Ellingsworth said the Cancer Society would like Daviess County and Owensboro officials to adopt an ordinance that would cover workplaces, public buildings and bars as well as restaurants.
