So sweet, possibly so deadly Feb 20, 2008 During my career in Los Angeles I have seen roughly two dozen people with Echinococcus granulosus, all of whom contracted their infection years to decades before migrating to the United States. Wolf dispute could extend for years Mar 20, 2007 How about the disease carried by wolves, echinococcus granulosus, that we now know elk can pick up, what is the long term effect of that, not only to elk, but to other species, such as griz, moose, sheep, etc. You know Steve, since there are a lot of sceptical old mossy backs live out here, how about providing the studies that show the elk are jsut fine with 8-14 calf to cow ratios, a 70% drop in population.
