All of the phobia victims seem stuck in problems that run the gamut from totally predictable (fear of spiders) to the unnecessary (fear of demons) to the ridiculous (fear of overwork). It's almost as if the designers sat down with the Big Book O' Phobias and just selected the ones they thought would make cool game levels without trying to come up with any kind of coherent plan.
