Galt City Council looks to clean up foreclosed homes Sep 3, 2009
As weeds continue to grow in the yards of foreclosed homes, the Galt City Council took a first step Wednesday night to find a way to prevent health and safety hazards on these properties. The council approved 5,500 to clean up about a half dozen homes where the city cannot find an owner to be responsible for bringing the property up to city code compliance. (Lodi News Sentinel, CA)
