    Saturday, who has started 59 straight Colts games since 2004, damaged the medial collateral ligament in his right knee in the Colts' preseason loss to the. His agent, Ralph Cindrich, said the Pro Bowl center will miss a good chunk of the season and even longer if he chooses to have the injury surgically repaired, according to the report. Rivers also said that, in order to be ready for Sunday's game against the Patriots, he had arthroscopic surgery a day after the game in Indianapolis to remove some cartilage from his knee.     Sanders criticized Tomlinson for not re-entering such an important game, saying that he would need to have surgery on the knee in order to "get a free pass on this one." Tomlinson will not require surgery for what was actually a sprained medial collateral ligament, something he said he could not have played through.
